    Foundation in Art & Design

     

    Building a foundation in art and design is an exploratory journey for an aspiring artist or a designer. Here, he/she develops the necessary skills in art and design that build the base for developing a career in the creative fields.

     

    Through this course, a student will be sensitised towards art and design as a whole. A student will also be exposed to various disciplines of art and design through projects to help him/her identify interests and aptitude. In addition to building art and design skills, we focus on developing creativity, imagination, communication skills, presentation skills, and problem-solving.

     

    The Foundation In Art & Design Course is open to all age groups-learners who wish to explore
    a creative career choice to learners who wish to learn a new skill.

    The learning plan for each student varies on the basis of his/her abilities.

     

    In the short format, we conduct 4 classes a week at our studio. These sessions are for 2 hours each. Since the courses focus more on art and design skill building, the mediums are generally pre-decided by the learner.
    The minimum recommended duration for this course is 4 weeks.

    Yes, you can. For instance, if you’re in the 10th grade and you wish to do a 23-week course only and then take a break for your boards, you may do so. You can then continue once your boards are finished.

    What are the intake periods for the Foundation courses?

    We have two intake periods - June and December. In case you miss the intake period, reach out to our advisor who will recommend a customized course for you.

    Can I choose my days for classes?

    Unfortunately no. Our Foundation courses run in a group format and hence have fixed days and times. Kindly get in touch with our advisors to know the schedule for your Level/s. Alternately, if none of the days suit you, request the advisor for a customized program.

    I do not wish to do a 23-week program. Is there an alternative?

    Yes. We also customize the foundation course to suit your needs. Please speak to an advisor to get the details for the same.
